The Cyprus Tax Department has recently announced a change in the procedure for taxpayers to settle their tax obligations, effective from May 3, 2023.
According to the announcement, taxpayers are informed that JCC Smart is no longer available for executing tax payments. Instead, tax payments must be made exclusively through the Tax Portal. The login credentials for the tax portal remain the same as those used for accessing Taxisnet.
To settle any outstanding tax liabilities, which can be found under the “Statements of Due Amounts” category, taxpayers have two options: (i) making the payment through online banking using the provided “payment reference number” issued in the Tax Portal or (ii) using a debit/credit card.
